Even if it were a real gun, and they certainly should treat the situation as though it could be, I don't think the fact that someone has a gun is enough of a reason to shoot them, even if they are black. All the same people who say, "Look, he had a gun! He deserved to get shot!" Are the same ones complaining about the erosion of the 2nd ammendment. So he possibly has a gun, so what? Unless he's shooting it, let's assess the situation before opening fire on someone for simply having a gun.
