I don't have a problem with asking for help with medical bills if you need it.
I do have a problem with people saying if you can afford a Starbucks, send 5 bucks to me instead. If you can afford a pizza, send 15 dollars to me instead. If you can afford to go out to eat, send 40 bucks to me instead.

And a poster that was asking for help with her medical bills did that exact thing on her facebook.
It wasn't about just helping anymore, but being selfish to have things you like when you could be giving her the money.
