Growing up in south texas, I lived in the nicest neighborhood on the south side of town. We had busloads of invaders. Sometimes we'd have maids come by, in no costume, trick or treating with a large brown paper bag. I had a separate bowl of ice. I'd drop two ice cubes and a few inconsequential candies in the bag, then walk outside and watch the blowout about 100' away.

All my candy is in one bowl, but I don't let them pick.I have full sized candy bars for the older kids who really try. The rest get mike & ike.

Only 1 bowl. Don't answer the door if I see a black kid. My 4 year old caught on quick she would tell me if they are black or not by looking through the window.
