I'm guessing that it means the 8th and 9th innings of a game 3 versus #1 in the country wasn't the first time he'd used the stuff to gain an advantage (i.e. a better grip).

EDIT: No, he didn't. I'd almost be surprised to see him again this season.

Based on the coach's comments he's gonna play just like he did before.

He's also not going to have that laser beam fastball and he's going to get patted down line he's in the TSA "opted out of the scanner" line

I assume so as well. But they also didn't play "yesterday" when that was posted at ~11pm on 5/2. They played Tuesday 4/30 at Kennesaw and then at home this weekend versus Vandy. I was just trying to clarify if this was new information; sounds like it was old and coach has since stated he will pitch this weekend.

Watched the South Carolina vs. Georgia game last night, he did not go to the glove one time, in fact it looked like he was making a concerted effort to avoid touching anything. Other than hitting two batters he pitched decent.

Let's say a pitcher has a stache or beard. Is he allowed to have hair products? i can imagine a pitcher sweating and wiping his face during May heat. Many stache products are tacky for shaping and controlling loose hairs

The final line on Mracna last night:

1.1 IP, 0 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 SP, 3 HBP, 4 AB, 8 BF, 28 NP

3 Ks, but also 1 BB and 3 HPB in 8 batters and only 4 outs . Seems like he has good stuff but the control is an issue and just wasn't quite there. Weird, I wonder what changed .
