I really want to get a better picture but the house is at an awkward spot on a 45mph 2 lane road so it isn't the easiest to get. It is so bad.
It can't be any more awkward than those two bedrooms that are practically facing each other!

You'd have to hope the engineering on the area they built on is really good!

Just moved back to Texas and started looking for a place to buy and came across this listing. Im not even sure what to say about it. If someone had the money to completely renovate this place they could have an amazing setup but at the cost it would take you could just buy a nicer place on the water.

I like this one; it looks like it went through a remodel in the mid-'90s by someone who would've been in their 70s at the time but it wasn't thorough enough to strip out the original modernist bones. For example the slate flooring and fixture above the square table in the kitchen and the front doors, and the light in the smaller room with the leather couches. The fixtures are ludicrously expensive whether you want to buy them new or second hand.
If it was me I'd pull all carpet, anything floral, traditional, or frilly, and replace with stuff that plays along with the higher quality, clean modern lines from the original parts of the place. I see a much better starting point than nearly everything around here.

Tub in the master bedroom has been seen before, but always baffles me.
I've seen that exactly once and my reaction is the same as last time. Why in the flying **** is going on here?! And the carpet. Whyyyy?

If the room had swag lighting, macrome, shag carpeting, and maybe a bottle of Sex Panther off to the side I'd at least get it.
Now that you point out the hallway carpet I have expect to see Danny run into some twins while riding his trike down the hall and a putrefied woman to emerge from the tub.
