Dang I wish I remembered Naquin but F. Robinson is such a safe choice and usually doesn't hurt the rarity score. I agree WAR is a crapshoot. I usually try very old school HoFers, not really an option for this grid. Starting to not go with the first position player that comes to mind and think of pitchers since they seem to be overlooked when WAR is part of the grid.

Gary Sheffield apparently had a WAR of 5.9 with the Marlins in 1996. I agree with the above, its just not a stat I know - especially retroactively. I'm just picking HOFers ir guys who had MVP/CY type seasons as guesses.
