Are you the original owner and do you have proof of purchase?

Dometic is very picky on warranty claims should something ever go wrong.

I am the original owner. I don't have a separate proof of purchase. This unit came installed in my Micro Minnie. Its function was erratic and inconsistent. Dometic decided to replace it, rather than repair it. I kept it for parts, then did some research and narrowed the problem down to a bad control board. I replaced the control board with the newer, updated version. I also replaced the gaskets. It's been cooling like a champ ever since. The serial number tag had to be removed and sent back to Dometic, so there is no warranty.
