I'd say he makes "money" off sales of product and this is a marketing effort.

Also - who's to say he's not paid directly for the commercials that will run.

Let's face it, not a lot of folks care about a game between a MAC and MWC team. Especially with the 12 team (at least for now) playoff, any non playoff game is going to be a tough sell.

It's advertising. Same reason any company pays to be a bowl sponsor or to have their name on a stadium. People now know that Snoop has a drink product line. The naming rights for this bowl can't be a whole lot

For the longest time I thought the Poulan weedeater bowl was funny as heck and about as low as a bowl game sponsor could be but then the Gallery furniture Bowl broke that mold and then the Bad Boy Mowers gasparilla Bowl and now the snoop dog bowl!!!!!!

Where does it end?

Next up The Dumb Ass Water Bowl in San Francisco California 2028. Book it!
