Hey....it's been 1 day....

We got ours....But it's over. Just enjoy this period of dominance we enjoyed for the better part of the last decade. It's something to tell our grandkids about. But it's over...back to wondering aimlessly through the wildnerness for years to come.

The Rangers had a horrible stretch and almost missed playoffs last year. Still won it all.

If a couple of guys pull their heads out then we can make a playoff run. We are also due to have some luck break our way and go on a winning streak.

I think we'll finish the year with a winning record.

I can vividly remember my time at Rice and there were maybe about 10 chicks total on the entire campus who would have been considered "hot" on any objective scale and at pretty much any campus in the country. And that's a pretty big "maybe."

I've had buddies who served in the Middle East talk about chicks who were "Iraq hot" meaning that they were actually usually uggos but there were no other options so a normal 4 might be an 8 or 9 in Iraq. Same scale would be applicable to Rice.

Fortunately, the chicks at UH loved Rice athletes.

Rangers paid Nolan $1.8MM that season. Astros paid Rhoden/Clancy $2.125MM.
