I made the trip to Little Rock this afternoon fromdfw. No traffic clear roads and made it in faster than expected time. Will probably venture a little more north the day of eclipse

Were you able to see the sun pretty clearly around then ? Or was it pretty intermittent

Sweet thanks. I know they have an eclipse specific link and forecast which is great. I was messing with other days and hours and couldn't really figure out what those numbers on the left under forecast hour mean. Maybe someone can explain that to a dummy like me.

Lots of cloud coverage in Austin area this morning, but thin enough for the sun to shine through. Wouldn't be ideal for getting those perfect pics, but you would still be able to clearly watch the eclipse and enjoy it.

This layer is supposed to burn off around noon. It's the low clouds developing around 1-2 that are the problem.

It's like a thin transparent layer of clouds in Fort Worth. Can see the whole sun.

Never mind it's just clear in Saginaw north of downtown.

I'm northeast of Bucholtz. I'm in 2:39 of totality. Low clouds rolling in. But they are rolling and we get random sucker holes. Who knows what the next 30 minutes will bring.

Still hazy, but got a cloudless viewing in Georgetown. Was amazing!

Not ideal for professionals, but the haze made it almost better for normal viewing and getting pics with phones.

Laying down next to my wife inside an inflatable pool which was floating in our real pool. The clouds parted for a full 10+ minutes at the perfect time giving us a full view.

Definition of a once in a lifetime experience. No words.
