I've made it clear on here and elsewhere that while I'm a strong supporter of liberal arts colleges/departments (as long as they're run the right way), most or all areas/departments that end with "studies" should be abolished as leftist tripe that has no useful educational value. It is all but proven here.
I think this is the main reason colleges have gone off the deep end in the last 30+ years. Calling propaganda gathering a major or discipline and awarding degrees in it. Forget that doesn't prepare anyone for meaningful employment; it has its hand in destroying universities and the educational system (apologies to Otter in Animal House for borrowing from his speech at the Delta probation hearing).

No backbone in College Presidents- they do love em some money. They have never taken a vow of poverty as I can recall. The regents like the cocktail parties and prestige and sky box at ball games. So getting a hard decision out of them is difficult. Pathetic leaders.
Who is a prof that is not leftist? If you fire the leftists who will replace them? The profs are the reason all this is happening. They are all socialist brainwashers.

One of the biggest failings in teaching college students is that everyone has a boss. We fail because these professors don't understand that.

The lawlessness we have been seeing in our cities and these protests is, in part, enabled and allowed to persist due to idealistic nonjudgmentalism and a "live and let live" sentiment, which was under discussion on page one until recently in the United Methodists to allow LGBTQ clergy thread.
The Peter gif and "Don't judge me" comment were all referencing the above.
I'll just file these under failed attempts at wit and humor...

No grad assistants to do their grunt work. Hauled in front of review boards for every single student complaint. Trebling the intro classes they have to teach. Maybe even transfer them to UT Permian Basin.
If the BoR is behind him, you would see that leftist entitlement insanity decrease markedly. Too bad he and almost all university presidents don't have the internal fortitude, personal convictions or strength of character to do what is required to return a little sanity into their world.
