THIS is why the taxpayers in this HOLE can't have nice things....
"The program offers up to $9,000 for families to LEASE an EV, or $5,000 to BUY one."

Not to wish anyone any bad luck, but once this (and other things) are in place, I want to see a massive evacuation take place somewhere. Jammed freeways like in some of the hurricanes. It will change the outlook of many as far as EVs.

Easier path to authorizing their credit, I assume.

It's not about what's best. It's about showing the program is successful by the number of participants who take the "free money."
