I was told Faith Franklin had been unable to practice much of the last weeks but she made up her mind yesterday and was unable to run! She tweaked her hamstring at regionals after the individual 200 and 400 and was just unable to get it ready for today!

Poor Leachman could only scratch out 5th in the 800:

I think Leachman takes her in the 16 and 32 if they race head to head, but SJL (not Sheila Jackson Lee) wins the 800...for now.
