Buescher frustrated and should be, he'll get his win though.

Can someone explain to this newbie what the sticker on the door Buescher is referring to?

A handful of years ago Nascar began putting checkered flag stickers on the cars of race winners for each race won that season. The comment is basically acknowledging Reddick already has a sticker (winner this year), meaning he's locked into the playoffs and Buescher isn't.

A Buescher heel turn would be awesome but I don't think he has it in him. Too good of a guy.

Man, that was so fun yesterday. I started as a Ryan Blaney guy, but as I watch every race, I'm starting to feel myself starting to pull for guys like Ross Chastain and Tyler Reddick. Not sure what that says about me, but I think I just like that aggressive style of racing.

A little bit of (dated) news about next season's new media rights deal that goes into effect...

First 19 races of the year will be with Fox

Next 5 will be with Prime Video + Amazon prime will hold exclusive rights to all practice and qualifying sessions for the first 19 races except Daytona + all star race.

Next 5 will be on TNT who last aired a NASCAR race in 2014

NBC will pick up the final 14 races of the season on NBC/USA

FS1 will televise all 23 Truck series races and the CW now has exclusive rights to all Xfinity races.

...(now the new news)...

The final 3 races of the Prime schedule will be used for seeding of a new in-season tournament. The top 32 drivers will be seeded NCAA march madness style, where they will go on a 5 game head to head elimination run during the TNT races, with the winner taking home $1 million.

Oh FFS. Fox should have just bid for the whole thing.

I can't wait to see what combo of idiots Amazon trots out there.

TNT hired Dale Jr to the broadcast team for their 5, and he'll also be featured for qualifying/practice coverage on streaming for amazon.

I dont' believe any other announcements have been made for either of the new platforms.

The in-season tournament was something that Denny Hamlin unofficially did last season through his podcast and Dirty Mo Media. Glad to see it pick up some traction. Suspect the NBA in-season tourney's success helped green light it.

The should "randomly" pair drivers. Like Denny vs Bubba. Make it interesting.

Coming to you next week! Tyler Reddick versus Chris Buescher!
