Nine homers, 36 hits and over 380 pitches later, Texas A&M got a 15-14 win over South Carolina. In a game that lasted over four hours, the Aggies had to bounce back multiple times to tie up the series at one.

On a cold evening that stretched into the night, A&M reached 25-0 in non conference games with a walk off single from Logan Nottebrok. Matt Kent pitched more than five perfect innings in relief along the way.

A&M fought valiantly on Thursday night. Grayson long threw six strong innings and after claiming an early lead and tying things up headed to the bottom of the ninth, the Ags suffered a heartbreaking loss to #1 LSU.

For just the second home game of the season, A&M failed to come out victorious. While a home run from Logan Taylor and an early RBI from Michael Barash gave the Aggies a chance, the Bulldogs prevailed.

Despite seizing an early 1-0 lead, the Aggies found themselves in a 3-1 deficit on Tuesday night. As it has all year, No. 1 A&M turned to the long ball and came back to defeat the thirteenth-ranked Owls in thrilling fashion.

Mid-way through the season the Aggies have proven themselves worthy of being called the nation's best team. What will they do with it from here? The list of problems is small and recent developments are encouraging.

After losing its first home game of the year on Saturday, A&M came out with a point to make and could not have made it more powerfully than it did. Sunday's blowout was highlighted by a nine-run sixth inning.

There's something about these Aggies. Is it the incomparable depth on the mound? A lineup with no real weak spots? Or just a team that has 'it'? In any case, no team has yet figured out how to overcome A&M.

The run continues for Texas A&M, which is now a bona fide top 10 team — and the nation's only undefeated one. Concerns are quickly shoring up and the Aggies are dominating in every other phase, just in time for SEC play's arrival.

Sunday afternoon saw Aggie baseball claim their 16th win in a row and sweep through the College Classic in the process. Matt Kent made another fantastic start in which he went 7.1 innings with 9 K's and a single walk.

On Friday night at Olsen Field, Texas A&M looked as if they were going to suffer their first loss of the season until two eighth inning home runs from Hunter Melton and Logan Taylor put them on top for good.

Tuesday night brought with it the toughest challenge of the year to this point for the Aggie baseball team. After being down early, A&M used clutch pitching and the entire lineup to pull ahead and stay perfect.

Dreadful competition isn't enough to drown out the efficient manner in which Texas A&M has dominated at the plate and on the mound to open the season. While there is one concern, the Aggies' depth may override it.
