Mistakes, errors and a lack of clutch hits early doomed A&M's chances on Saturday against the visiting Crimson Tide. Down 7-0, A&M scored four runs in the ninth inning but ultimately came up short of clinching the series.

Coming into Friday's game with Alabama, the Aggies had scored ten runs or more in seven consecutive games. On this night, they had to find a different way to win. In the 10th inning, Austin Homan did just that.

With a bad finish to the final round, Texas A&M was forced to settle for a ninth-place finish in the lone home event of the season. Senior Andrew Lister claimed a share of fourth place with a final round of two under par.

Coming into Saturday's 36-hole first day of the Aggie Invitational, Texas A&M had a strong game plan. Unfortunately, early bogeys and poor execution led to a lackluster start, leaving A&M in 7th place with 18 holes left.

Saturday and Sunday, Texas A&M men's golf will compete in its lone home event of the season at Traditions Golf Club. With a win already this season, and tons of course knowledge, confidence is high for the Aggies.

Behind a strong start from Jace Vines, who threw six solid innings, Texas A&M grabbed an important victory over its division rival on Thursday night. A&M scored four runs in the its final two at-bats to put the win away.

On Tuesday the Aggies returned from Spring Break and Kevin Sumlin resumed a familiar position: in front of the microphones. Following practice the Texas A&M head coach discussed the SMU staff's visit, the running back stable and the week ahead.

From the first inning onward, Sunday was all maroon and white. A&M scored in six of the first seven innings and Kyle Simonds gave the Aggies seven strong innings as they completed the sweep of visiting Bulldogs.
