Texas FilmWorks is thrilled to announce its collaboration with BRAVE Books to bring to life "Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk," a new children’s TV show that aims to transform screen time into a valuable character-building experience. This show combines entertainment with lessons on courage, honesty, discernment, forgiveness and empathy, presented through a biblical and traditional perspective.

"Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk" invites young viewers into an engaging world where Mr. Kirk and Iggy the puppet, along with a cast of animated characters and puppets, explore various character-building themes. Each episode is set in a captivating treehouse and concludes with an animated story by Mr. Kirk, making every adventure both fun and educational.

"This partnership marks a significant milestone for us in children's entertainment,” said Brandon Jones ‘95, CEO of TexAgs and Texas FilmWorks. “Working with BRAVE Books, we're setting new standards for content that is not only enjoyable but profoundly impactful. We're committed to making 'Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk' a beloved household name for its positive influence on young minds."

Brave Books CEO Trent Talbot, Texas A&M University class of ’07, knows this partnership will bring great success.

“I’m excited to partner with Texas FilmWorks to create ‘Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk’,” Talbot said. “We vetted dozens of production studios and we felt Texas FilmWorks was the best fit to make this incredibly important project become a reality.”

The production is backed by a team dedicated to delivering the highest quality content in children’s entertainment, featuring stars like Kirk Cameron, Leigh-Allyn Baker and Sesame Street’s John Kennedy, who voices Iggy the Iguana. The cast and crew have been carefully selected for their ability to convey important lessons through engaging stories and humor.

Texas FilmWorks general manager Andrew Kilzer ‘07 expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership.

"Our team at Texas FilmWorks is so excited to partner with Brave Books on this page-turning project,” Kilzer said. “With Kirk Cameron and Leigh Allyn-Baker, plus the creative team at BRAVE Books, we know this is a show families and kids will love!"
