My opinion is that this will eventually come to be and a&m will have veto power. Will you let your cousins in our league?

Our leaders? Depends on who gets to vote. I'd like to think that Loftin would make the right choice.

Non-issue since the sips lack the balls to ever go to the SEC. Besides, equal revenue sharing is not in their nature. They will only choose to be in a conference they can own and manipulate like the BIGWTF.

Sec is looking at expanding its geological footprint and tv numbers... Everyone already knows (based on history) that the sip fans will crawl into the woodwork if the wheels fall of their program... Which a move to the sec will almost gurantee. (hell they are doing a good job of it already in the big 12).
So should the SEC consider dealing with pompous arrogant horns for the gain of a sliver of the Texas market, a historicly sports relevant school with good academics? My guess is that dodds running his mouth is making their decision easy.

Our veto would be unnecessary. None of the other SEC members would say yes unless we were expanding from a 119 team conference and they were the only remaining Indy team. Have you met these people? Nobody would want to associate with them on purpose.

 No.
Can you imagine the baffoon that is DeLoss Dodds engaged in issues for the long term benefit of the SEC, not just tu?
Those butt munchers ruined the SWC and the Big 12. No way would we let them bring their type of cancer to our league.

 No.
But who knows what the administration would do.
My guess is they would follow the lead of UGA and UF relative to GT and FSU and say no. But because of the historical ties between our two schools they could still say yes.
Of course this is all moot. tu isn't going anywhere without TLN so the SEC isn't going to happen. Plus they would loose their prima donna status they currently own in the Big12 if they were to join the SEC so I don't see it happening. But on the other hand if the money was good enough they might do it, even if it meant ditching TLN. Nahhhh, they'll never do it.
