With this going public, there is no way he can stay.
BZ will soon use his texags sources to figure out what toole posted last night about the sherman split.
It will be much more public than the internet within 48 hours.
Remember through texags, we have been getting the AD's views on sherman , in that you cannot fire him.
The firing sherman forces are going to start their work.

Never said, but he did say it was Byrne vs. those three (probably more parties than that involved).
utayag seemed like a loyal soldier so I figure he supported Byrne.
Stegent has posted more interesting stuff about the dynamics between guys like byrne and Sherrill.

Jason Stegent, are you at all related to Steve Largent, by chance?
That is what your screen name reminds me of.
Then I found $5.

After this, and the ebay deal yesterday, Sherman's safety has become an iffy proposition. Going into the Thanksgiving Day game, he was in trouble, but not in truly hot water, had we won.
Sherman took off on a recuriting trip, he's out of town, "attending to his job," while the crap swirls back home. (Sounds like Byrne the last two summers, doesn't it?)
The hiring of an OC sounds like Byrne's idea. Same thing he did with Solich at Nebraska. A pacifying move. If Sherman was so secure, why an OC now?

I am not sure how a coach can survive a public split in the administration to fire him.
Even Fran did not have that.

Sherman has already been hard at work on this task for the last 4 years, meticulously assembling a 25-25 career record.

If Sherrill has any input on our University the leadership as a whole needs to be replaced. It makes me sad that anyone in a position of leadership cares what that liar and cheat has to say about anything. Before you guys flame me save your effort because I don't care. He brought shame on our University and to show the kind of person he was, he did the same thing at Miss. State. We need real leadership no matter the outcome.

Sherman's desire for balance extends to the win/loss column as well.

Bilbo is absolutely right about something: Sherm will be out of here (one day). Just have a little patience.
That day could be tomorrow, or that day could be a cold day in January 2017.
I predict that the sun will rise tomorrow morning, and the morning after that.
I wouldn't get too worked up over the reading of the tea leaves that seems to be going on here.

I think this Toole outing will force Loftin to make a move. We know there are two factions and their Sherm stays, Loftin will look weak if he caves.

No but if you want the loser can pay for the other's stars for six months.
This will be really public (meaning beyond the internet) soon. The AD will have to back down and probably leave like Stegent said.
Byrne is professional enough to know that. The AD cannot win a public battle against the President of the University. Not going to happen.
And Sherman will be gone.

How about Cochon or Herbsaint? It will be nice having someone else pay the tab for once.
I'll just say this...my friend told me the day of the tu game that Sherman would be A&M's next coach BEFORE anyone knew Fran was resigning. Put it this way, he is really good friends with a current NFL coach whom I've met several times and has said the same thing, Sherman is not going anywhere.

BTW, I've heard what you've heard, but it wasn't clear that the info I got was representative of all of them? Usually once one of them has an opinion strong enough to volunteer his checkbook the others go along. That's why I'm asking.
