I wish this is the guy cal would be throwing against us. He can only throw a fastball for a strike.
can't tell if Coastal actually fouled that off or not.

LOL, half the team was running off the field on that non 3rd strike call. Catcher even tossed it back.
Pretty crappy missed call by the umpire considering that was over the plate. Dude has called the outside(and I mean OUTSIDE) strike for both teams all day, but whiffs on one right over the plate.

and then Coastal watches an inside 3rd strike. Cal strikes out the side, but Jefferies is up in the mid 90's for pitch count now.
No mention that there are more people in club seats for a game we aren't even playing than a Tuesday game?

Is it just me, or is the camera incredibly zoomed in on the batter?
I haven't been too impressed with either team so far.

Coastal looks like a mid-major team today. Didn't really attack Cal's starter. Also missed their catcher. The backup guy had a couple of important AB's with men on base. Did not deliver
yeah coastal was not good today.
Assuming the Ags take care of business tonight, it's now essentially a 2 team regional. Coastal will not have the depth to win the regional, especially with their injuries.
Ags or Cal will win this thing. Ags better damn well be the ones.

On tv it appeared they blocked the entire stadium.
my understanding was there would not be so 203 was sitting on the berm together.

Yeah I knew they said no GA, but then read somewhere that a section would be reserved for students, so I suppose I'll find out in a few hours. Get off work in 30 mins & will head straight there from Houston.
