If you can try any more from Bell's, I would recommend Oberon. We used to get minikegs of that stuff...it was glorious.

Hopslam is an excellent beer! I have 2 left that will go down on St Pattys day. These are the best guys to know. I've developed a few good relationships with my local guys and a few traders in MI and WI, but none in VT.

Had one of these tonight; not extremely hoppy but I was pleased none the less

not bad, not great. i'm indifferent.

Mbole, nice haul! I drank some fresh Sucaba the other night and it was great. That beer will sing anytime between now and the next year. I bought two bottles of XV, but haven't had any yet. Velvet Merlin is such a great stout.

I tried Southern Star for the first time. I had the blonde and I don't like it. However I guess I'll go ahead and finish off the 6 pack after I finish my 60 mile bike ride tomorrow.

I'm sad to report that I drank 2 miller lites yesterday. They were free and they were green and in all fairness to me, it was St Paddys and I had already plowed through mimosas and then several craft beers at Taps. Don't worry though, I ended up at Petrol for a rancor burger, 2 endeavours, and a DFH red & white.

Passed out at 7:00pm!

Mmmmm. Rancor Burger.

Heading back to a solid German hefe for some known quality. I like it but I don't think it is the best of the style as reported on some of the beer drinker websites.

Great color and head, but I enjoy a more flavorful hefe. With that negative stuff out of the way, this still is a very good beer and would be a fine crossover for those trying craft/quality for the first time.

A limited release in the 924 Widmer series... I think this is the best porter I've ever had, and towards the top beer overall. I really wish I had bought more than one when I saw them.
