Here are some packing tips. I tend to over pack, but its cheaper than having to send two boxes after the first one has bottles break. I work under a tenet that I should feel comfortable tossing my box across the backyard with no worries.
Use a heavy duty box if you have one
Line the box with a double layer of bubble wrap across each wall
Fill a trash bag with some bubble wrap or packing paper
I like to use two sheets of bubble wrap for 12ozers.
Cling wrap is your friend
Roll the bottle up and secure it tightly with wrap. Mind the cap and bottom
I use three sheets for bombers. Two whole sheets and one torn in half. Roll it up and then pull the excess around the cap and bottom.
Fill up the box. Be sure that no part of a bottle touches the wall of the trash bag or any other bottle inside. I try and have at least a couple inches of padding between the box and the bottles. Packing peanuts work well and are much easier, but I tend to have a lot of excess stuff sitting around. This is about halfway home in regards to stuffing
I like to cover up the trash bag with a few sheets of packing paper.
Throw an extra shipping label right on top. I try and throw stickers and other stuff in my boxes. My parents were up recently and brought me a ton of jerky from Rosenthal. It's the best jerky ever
Cover the entire label with tape. I don't like those stick on label holders. They can get ripped off.
The only thing taking that baby down is a forklift.
