Front yard used to be St. Augustine which died off after the last 2 summers. I tried some Scott's turf builder that you spread on the surface with minimal success last fall. This spring these weeds have taken over the majority of the front yard.

1. Best spray or whatever to get rid of these weeds?
2. Best seed to spread? (surface seed preferred, but not required, not opposed to breaking a little dirt to get bermuda going)

Waco area, full sun during the summer to give you an idea of the climate

Apologies for poor picture quality

Me thinks they might suggest starting over with bermuda sod IF you had the bucks
otherwise the cheap way out is to hand weed, bermuda seed, hi-nitro fertilizer, water & mow mow mow
from what I learned hearing them every week
That said, am only a Black Thumb in clay soils with county salty water in Aggieland.
IMHO and am sticking to it
