If he's a really good guy, he'll be smart enough not to wear sip gear to an A&M game and be a good guest. If not we are going to question your judgment into what makes someone a really good guy.

The only way I'd go to a sip game was if I was in someone's suite so I could drink their booze and I was pretty sure the sips were going to lose.

I've done this - worn neutral colors to many other college football games. Including games at DKR Memorial when the Aggies weren't playing (my wife is a longhorn). Just tell him to wear neutral stuff, go, have fun, and not to be a douchsenozzle.

I have a sip coworker who is a season ticket holder. He called me one Friday night after years back and said his wife was sick and wanted to know if I wanted to go. I said sure.

I wore a black plain tshirt and black baseball cap. I drank a lot at tailgate and had a great time. Their fans complain about the refs non stop just like our idiots do.

Never crossed my mind to wear A&M gear. Maybe I'm not an ass.

My wife is also tu grad and I have done the same thing. She is, however, a member of the 12th Man Foundation, and the last several years we've begun to travel less and less to Austin.

Did the same at the first TCU v sip T-day game after we left for thr SEC. I enjoyed watching the sips lose, but didn't openly cheer for TCU. Neutral colors and good tailgating. Never occurred to me to wear maroon or Aggie gear

I mean, he doesn't even have to wear A&M gear. Just have him wear a white shirt. Mutual school color, and he can still avoid being "that" guy.

When I went to the Baylor/Rice game last season (my sister is a student up there), I wore a plain green shirt. Worked out just fine.

Had 4 sips decked out in puke orange polos and khakis stop by a tailgate I was at in spence the year Kyle Allen couldn't hold his own pants up in the Bama game. They hung out for awhile but then realizing we were pissed (at Allen) and semi drunk, they left thinking we were mad at them I guess.

Saw them walking around other tailgates with a thumbs up to everyone they came across wearing maroon. No trash talk, guess they just wanted to see what things were like during game day.
