I don't miss the Big 12 Vandalism

Anyone remember guarding our statues from Texas tech fans in 2006? Several of us stayed up all night watching the E King Gill statue to prevent tech tards from painting it red. Several pickups full of hollering tech fans came by that night, but no monuments were defaced. Only Northside garage to my knowledge.

Now the replaced his statue with an uglier one...

Exactly.

I remember the double Ts being all over Northside Garage.

I can't remember which dorm went to protect Bonfire Memorial. I remember some took tree branches and made spears to guard it. Police who were patrolling campus didn't like that much.

Baylor beat TCU 61-58 last season in Waco and there was nationwide debate about which team should be considered for the inaugural College Football Playoff. Both teams were left out after the conference decided to name both Big 12 co-champions.

No. 3 Baylor and No. 2 TCU play this season's game November 27 in Fort Worth

No s***! I had that game on while I was in the kitchen cooking. The windows were open and the ranch is close enough to train tracks to hear the horns when they pass. My elderly mother became alarmed when she kept hearing the horn. She thought we were mobilizing for war or something. (She was a teen during WWII and the trains ran all of the time getting men and material to the ports.)
