I'm looking for a dependable contractor to handle some cosmetic updates to my home in CS, with a budget of about $85K. With one exception, most of the folks I've contacted haven't been overly interested in looking at the job, I assume because it's a smaller job, and not in one of the more prestigious neighborhoods. This also makes me somewhat suspicious of the one contractor who's just dying to do it.
If anyone has any suggestions for a possible contractor who can also offer some design assistance - OR - just advice in general on hiring a contractor, I'd appreciate it. Structurally the house is in excellent shape - it just needs a facelift. Thanks so much!
