We are flying into Barcelona 8/9 and need to be in London the weekend of 8/17-18. What would you do in between the weekends? We were thinking of staying on the Costa Brava but it seems like this is one of the weeks that a lot of small town Spain shuts down - is that a thing? Seeing some differing opinions online.

We are open to anything reasonably easy to get to from something like Monday - Thursday of that week. Any ideas?

We have been to Madrid, Florence, Rome, Copenhagen, and Vienna recently.
