I love old baseball stadiums from the glory days of baseball.... post some of your favorite or unusual ones..... here are three that come to mind:

LA Dodgers at the LA Coliseum:

New York Giants at the Polo Grounds:

Cincinnati’s Crosley Field:

Texas Rangers - the early years

The thing I liked about Tigers stadium was all the upper deck HR's. Most of those other fields are garbage though.

Tiger Stadium...one of the all-time hitters parks. I think Cecil Fielder was the last player to hit a home run out of the park (literally). I went to a game there 15 years ago. Scary neigborhood at night. The astros' idea to put the flag pole in fair territory at MMP came from Tiger Stadium.

Tiger Stadium was demolished last September.

David Clyde must be pitching.

Saw my first Major League game as a kid in Milwaukee County Stadium. Does not really compare to the true "cathedrals" of baseball's past but an underrated little park IMHO. It served as the stand in for Cleveland Municipal Stadium for Major League. I guess if you're going to use another team's play-by-play man you might as well use its ballpark too.

One more, Baker Bowl (Philly; the old saying about the sign was "The Phillies use Lifebuoy, and they still stink" )

The only "older" parks that I've seen MLB games in are the 'Dome and Fulton Co. Stadium in Atlanta...and the latter is hardly picture worthy.

In case any of you are wondering, it was a whopping 483 feet (at a minimum) to dead center in the Polo Grounds...

Exhibition was strange with half the football field over the RF fence.

Jarry Park was the first MLB stadium with a swimming pool. Weird that Montreal was the first to do this.

Crosley Field in Cincinnati actually flooded in January 1937. The water reached 21 feet over home plate. I can't even fathom that happening at any ballpark today.

the pics of crosley flooded remind me of the pics of tech's football field being flooded.

Desoto Public High School Stadium is sweet. Went there for a spring football camp once.
