You poosies act like no one has ever beat Clemson before. They lost to 4-8 Syracuse last year and still made the playoff. The year before that they lost to 8-5 Pitt and then won a championship. Upsets happen all the time.

No we won't and that's ok. They are years ahead of us. We don't match up well with them. They have most of the OL that helped win the natty from 2 years ago. That's a full 3 years of on field experience against A+ competition. That alone will be enough to win considering their depth at RB and WR. They are very deep at QB as well. Then you have that DL that has two guys that would have been picked in the 1st round if they would have declared. Clemson has years of top flight recruited depth. Not to mention a great coach who does well on the road.
Not good for the 2nd game into Jimbo's 1st year.
Don't care. Got Jimbo. Ship or bust for 2018

Indeed! If we could just start strong (NO MORE ucla meltdowns) and finish strong September - November, I would feel we were on the right track. I think it's been more of a mental toughness instead of a physical one, aka KDS style...Boo Weekley said:
I would not be surprised with an 8-ish win season next year. New coaches, new systems on both sides of the ball. Still pretty young, and not quite the level of talent and depth Jimbo is used to. I would not be mad an an 8 win season as long as we show clear improvement from start to finish of the season. That would be refreshing for once.
If Clemson blows us out, I will be disappointed but will understand. We better not be getting blown out in the second half of the season though.
Prob more like one in thirty. Your sips would prob have a one in 500k or a million shot though. Your team really sucks, so does your conference.Midnight Toker said:
Aggie has no chance to beat clemson. too much talent. I guess it's possible, like one of those one in a million things.

That's all fine and dandy but, why are you on an Aggie forum?

I don't expect wins, but I certainly anticipate close losses.
In fact I can't imagine a better start. I anticipate that after playing the top 2 teams in America this unit will learn they can go toe to toe with the best and they can hold their own. By years end they will be tough, united and they will know this new system better than a well loved porno mag.
We will beat LSU this year.

No, we were just listening to music during practice and looking forward to a movie afterwards.ClemsonTig said:
Clemson's schedule feels much more manageable this year. Last year was very tough.
We became the first team in college football history to beat 3 Top 15 teams before the end of September - at Louisville (Game Day was there), Auburn at home, at VT (Game Day game again.) Very hopeful Game Day is in College Station this September as well.
One football question I've had about the Ags after watching a bunch of games last year, including in person your game against Wake Forest is run defense.
Against Auburn, LSU and Miss State the Ags seemed to have problems stopping the run. How do you think the new coaching staff is going to change that? Were you missing guys to injuries or what?
