He was one of our top recruits at LB couple years ago early on but just couldn't make the grades. It'd be interesting/awesome if he made his way back to Aggieland after JUCO.

Not Hoza, the guy who couldn't even graduate HS, or stay at a JUCO program. What I meant by my first statement was that he is 21 and still hasn't shown any signs of getting his priorities in order. Most 21 year olds at big time programs are RS Sophs, or juniors and have shown the ability to complete schoolwork and play football. Except guys who enlisted in a branch of the armed forces before going to school and playing ball.

TL;DR - If he ain't figured it out by now, he ain't gonna figure it out.

Actually, that's more common than you think, especially with guys who are baseball prospects/minor leaguers. For example, former Florida State QB, Chris Weinke, was 25 when he enrolled as a freshman at FSU (see here). He's also the oldest player to ever win the Heisman Trophy (28 years old).

DG recognized his issues, and did everything he needed to in order to get right and advance himself and his potential career. By all accounts a good kid too.

False. False.

The staff at Blinn is really doing their best to get him able to play.. Had people that were basically holding his hand and forcing him to go to class.

Will he ever make it here? Doubtful. But I'd like to see the guy get enough done in the classroom to at least play some football there.
