I don't get why he'd come here if Les isn't leaving, which it seems like he's not.

So he already earns 1.3 million. We probably need to offer 2+ to steal him. Time to pick up the phone to Bud again.

There are lots of reasons why he may be unhappy in Baton Rouge or in working for Les Miles. This is exactly what Liucci predicted...that A&M would pursue a big name coach who was disgruntled or unhappy in his position (nothing to do with salary).

They'd seal the deal with Chavis or Foster... personal preference is Foster, but it's like comparing Porsche and Ferrari . If nothing else you force LSU to up his salary even more

Lsu's offense is a wreak, the only thing that works is the defense.

Its believable that he'd want to come somewhere that has an offense.

malik is a whorn for life. Nobody would have changed his parents' "tu's **** don't smell" attitude.

mack maybe because he is emotional and really likes lsu and it isn't because of the offense.

I think this makes the 247 story somewhat on target and somewhat off. There apparently has been contact or an attempt at contact with Chavis. It probably is Chavis angling to get more money but not some evil plot by Chavis and LSU to destroy A&M recruiting (again the DC would not have made a difference with malik, his parents would have found some other reason for him not to come here).

Sumlin has probably already moved on but at least he tried to get some big names. texags would crucify him either way.

I guess he wants an even bigger raise.
