Umm. Not trying to flame, but Petrino is an infinitely better coach than Sumlin. Just sayin'. If he had stayed at Arky, they'd be a power by now.

Defensive coordinator Todd Grantham will leave the Georgia Bulldogs to take the same position at Louisville coach Mark Richt confirmed Sunday.Grantham will receive a five-year guaranteed contract worth $1 million per year, according to a source.

Well... You are talking about a guy with years more head coaching experience than sumlin, so using accomplishments is a terrible basis.

But, he's never had a good defense (into now), yet you act like he's always had a great defense. Sumlin in 2012 had a better season than petrino ever had... Yes including the year they backed into the sugar bowl thanks to bama and LSU going to the title (who both wrecked Arkansas) and then losing to Ohio state. That was by far his best year.

Lots of things:

FSU is by far the most overrated team in the country; they're seriously not very good. I think every SEC west team would beat them more often than not on a neutral field (yes, including us and Arkansas).

Louisville D is older than ours - 4 Sr, 4 Jr, 3 So, 0 Fr

Their last coach was a defensive minded coach, and a damn good one.

Their current coach is a damn good one.

Grantham is a very good coordinator (which is why he makes $1MM/yr).

They have a run game to keep the chains moving and keep the D off the field.

Their offense scored first and keeps scoring on the #2 team in the nation, which has the entire team fired up...
