OP: I agree that this board is a horrible representation of Texas A&M. I'd say banning folks is the way to go.
But I don't think that everyone without an "Ag Tag" should be banned. I used to have an Ag Tag - got it from Texags. They confirmed when I graduated, my name, etc.
Then for a while I had a gray Ag Tag. It changed color once they linked your posting name here to your 12th man account. I for one decided that I did not want the 2 linked, and felt that linking the 2 was unnecessary since I had already provided that information to Texags and they had already verified it. Seemed like a cheap way for the TMF and/or the Former Students Association to monitor what should be an anonymous discussion.
Then I lost my gray Ag Tag after I decided to suspend my premium subscription.
All that is a long way of saying that not all Aggies have Ag Tags.
