The follow up question is either:
1. How would you feel if your kid was terrible and people told him he was terrible?
or
2. If he's good, would you send him to play for this abortion of a program?
Nope and nope.

I'm not that great though. I'm a 6'2" 3rd corner (I'm only in on 3-3-5 or more conservative plays) and a backup sf

I keep thinking about this thread...
I raised 9 kids - 5 of my own, 2 adopted, 2 grandchildren... 6 girls, 3 boys.
To maintain "equilibrium" and "bonding" and proving interest in my kids activities whether varsity sports, scouts, band, etc., requires a LOT of time and effort and patience...
And, quite frankly, becomes a greater priority than whether or not I can attend (or afford) to support A&M - and I am a letterman.
Attending the kids activities, games, campouts, camps, etc., often produced conflicts even within our own household...
And Yes, I was in the military and traveled extensively and was gone - a lot...
Even after I retired from the military, travel - whether professional consulting, continuing education, etc., often conflicted with kids activities - and, as noted - were a priority over returning to A&M for some game or class reunion, etc...
To follow, every one of my kids wear Aggie gear to this day, have A&M stickers on their vehicles, and even if they attended college elsewhere support A&M through it all.
Yes, they were brainwashed from infants - and we DID attend as many activities as possible (especially when tickets in the horseshoe were $5 each...) - but, those days were often last minute decisions because of so many local family requirements that usually took priority.
The point is that we are not less interested in A&M's welfare as our family grew, but the activities of each family member often was a priority over and above A&M.
