^This is my beef with him. During realignment he said,
quote:
"I'm bitterly disappointed in my alma mater,'' Bennett added. "Their president, I'm sure, is a smart man. But he talks about how this was a 100-year decision, and I believe it would be a 100-year mistake to not be in the same league as Texas. Instead of beating them, they're running away from them.''
And yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but he spouted his off to the media for the whole world to hear an Aggie alum toe the BDF's company line of how stupid and cowardly A&M was being. He chose his side, and as far as I'm concerned, he's a Baylor man now. No reason for him to be at an A&M game
Holy guacamole, are you seriously that thin-skinned? A guy says "I don't like this idea" so then you cast him to some other school? Isn't there something we pump up our asses about "true to each other" and whatnot?
Reading comprehension, my friend, try it out. I understand that numerous Ags were opposed to our move to the SEC for this same reason. But
as I said in my post, Bennett stated his opinion (not simply that he disapproved of the move, but basically calling us a scared little *****) to the media at a time when we were fighting a media war with the BDF members. He knew exactly what he was saying, and he knew it would be used as ammo by the BDF members against us.
