If we have to be the only school in the SEC with a beveled logo let's at least get one that is correct.

I saw this thread the first time around and thought the designs were great. Looking at it again it just makes me mad.

Our bevel really is terrible. To think that an amateur (no offense spreadsheet, you're a god among posters) can come up with something that is INFINITELY better than the piece of **** we have is mind boggling and (to use the overused) an epic failure of epic proportions....

I think that eventually the SEC will have a team from North Carolina when they expand to 16. If AO had included the state of Virginia maybe they could have said that they were mapping out the SEC's eventual 16-team configuration.

If they are going to keep the crappy bevel, I wish they would offer fans more options without the bevel on merchandise. Every time I go to College Station I try to find caps or shirts without the bevel and it's almost impossible....so I don't buy anything. I really hate the bevel. It looks cheap.

Looking at that map it reminds me how much better it would be if they'd have drawn the line straight up the Miss/Alabama border to the right of Vandy.

Maroon Dawn,

It does look better. I guess it is easier to continue using a flawed logo (bevel) instead of admitting that it should have never been used in the first place.

A poster on Premium got a block TAM tattoo with no bevel but instead an outline, it looks awesome and would be fine as our logo. I'll post it when I get to a desktop(he already granted permission to cross post).

The objective is to look cheesy, as if done by a 7th grade drafting class.

This is way too professional and realistic. Looks like the shadowing and light sources are correct.
