Actually, if you want to talk about money, that's another reason why it would be better to not play you. You guys are just another ooc game for us now so if we were just thinking money, we could bring in any of several mid-tier, non-bcs conference teams for home games and not need to reciprocate at their home. That "replacement" game could be a hoe game for us each year if we wanted to.
So yo guys might want to think a bit before you start talking and showing your ignorance.
Whole mess of fail in this here post.
TV $$$, hotel $$$, travel $$$, and whatever else all dwarf ticket money in terms of importance. In other words, 80K actual fans in your stadium makes you more money than 90K figurative ones with an actual attendance of less than 70K. It is far better for Austin's overall economy to host A&M than it is to host BFE State College. Not to mention the fact that people who are actually at the stadium pay for parking, food, souvenirs, and just generally funnel money into the school and community. AND playing A&M on Thanksgiving increases your national presence. Nobody will tune in to watch you play UTSA, people won't actually come to your stadium, and nobody will care about your team except for that one weekend you play OU. Also, a weaker SoS means a less prestigious bowl and less money. Sorry, but your argument sucks.
