I told Skinner it was a law enforcement officer who happens to be Black who called me about the sign. An officer who was offended. She says her brother is a police officer and "oh well."

Skinner says the sign was originally posted two months ago after an encounter she had in her neighborhood with a White police officer. Despite the conflict, deaths, and strained relations going on in this country, she is still standing by her sign.

How hard to you think the police would investigate if dog sh$$ bombs accidently hit that sign and house? I'd say an accidental sign fire would work also, but it would be immediately likened to a burning cross and called a hate crime.

Just saw something new, perhaps somebody can shed some light on it for me.

Driving past BBVA on Dowling and a Harris County Constable car passes me with a red flag (like the sports team flags you roll up in your window) that said "OUT OF SERVICE" in white lettering. Is this an actual duty flag like he's some sort of cab driver off the job or is he making some sort of political statement? If it's the latter I really hope that's against HCSO policy.

After posting it occurred to me that a maintenance guy could have been giving the car a test drive or some non-cop was transferring it between stations. Maybe it was nothing.

Does anybody here work with/for the HCSO? I'd love to know that some deputy wasn't trying to make a political statement with his squad car.

This thread reminded me of the below car I saw last week driving on to 290. I wish she would get pulled over for driving an unsafe vehicle. Or for just being a dumb arse....and she was a big'ol bbw driving.
