Anyone know how often a police radar has to be calibrated?

Long story short, he pulled me over on 228 by highway 6 saying I was going faster than I believe I actually was. Radar hasn't been calibrated in over a year, will this hold up? Didn't find much help online.

I think that would hold up. My mom fought one because he claimed he shot her from behind. She did her research and found out that that model can only shoot forward.

With that said I'd try and find the model and model number and go from there.

How fast were you going? How do you know? When was the last time your speedometer was calibrated?

Manvel police or Iowa Colony?

Iowa Colony is a known speed trap.

Many years ago, shortly after I left high school for A&M, the Iowa Colony Mayor got in a spat with his PD. Seems one of the officers popped him for a DWI - he didn't like that, so he had the guy fired....

Several of the PD and Chief claimed that he couldn't do that as it was retaliation, etc. So he got the city council members (who were his drinking buddies) to disband the PD.

That ultimately failed on him as well.
