Depends on how you define "high end". But around the stadium - not much.

Cacharel is quite good. While they have seafood, I wouldn't call it a seafood restaurant.

Another good place north of I-30 is Piccolo Mondo - once again, not seafood, but they have seafood dishes.

A new place just opened up by my office in Lincoln Square (Collins and Road to Six Flags) called Shell Shack. Again, not high end, but has gotten pretty good reviews for a casual seafood joint. Pappadeaux is going to be your "nicest" seafood option in that area.

Honestly. These are two of my favorite restaurants in the entire DFW.

Piccolo is authentic Italian and very very well made. It's in a strip mall so it gets little credit. Antonio who runs the place is genuine Italian and it shows. Been going here for 30 years. My wedding rehearsal dinner was there.

Cacharel is very very good. It is new French and some American cuisine as well. Expensive. But well worth it. Great staff and chefs. Also in a bank building so it has little exposure. If it was in Dallas it would get raves. Been there for 25+ years as well.

They have both lasted that long for a reason.

Neither is seafood though although you can get some fish or seafood at both.

I have also heard of this place but have not been yet. My parents said good things about it. I believe it's kind of a butcher shop vibe, like served on paper. But supposed to be good seafood.

This place in Grapevine is getting excellent reviews. Some say the best meal they have had in awhile.

It's a chain. They also have one in Plano on southwest corner of Plano Pkwy and DNT. If you like crab it's absolutely fantastic. Get the Bardi served "kitchen sink" style. Also, they have the automatic hand washer when you are finished that the kids love. Really good stuff.
