I notice there seems to be some activity on the property at the corner of Rock Prairie and the By-pass on the Scott and White Hospital side. Anybody know what's planned for this spot and what's going on here?

I know there is a Valero going in that spot--not sure what else.
We live out that way and the road construction further down has been terrible. We are pretty excited though to have a gas station on "our" side of the highway though, and my wife loves the drive thru Starbucks.
To be honest, and this may not be popular with yall, but I'd like a Lupe Tortillas or some Mexican food place to move in there near the Hospital. If they ever build a Papadeauxs in there too, I doubt I ever see the other side of HWY 6 again.
Anyone that knows any more, by all means share the info.

A gas station is going in. Don't believe the other lots have sold yet. The last thing I want there is Mexican restaurant or fast food. But I liked it best the way it was! I purposely don't go to the Starbucks because of the drive thru....traffic just doesn't flow through there very well when it is backed up. Very happy for the road improvements on Rock Prairie!
Need Fast food, a dollar general, and a pawn shop.

I heard from a source that one business going in is a skilled nursing facility of some sort. Makes sense.
I believe there is a plan for assisted and skilled nursing facilities to be located east of S&W on Rock Prairie, not on the corner of Hwy 6.
