Any local recommendations for lawyers that are skilled at representing men in divorce?

From what I have heard Catlin is better for men than women. I have also heard that if you have any sin in your life prepare to get lectured, Baptist style.

I would say the key to any lawyer client relationship is honesty, be honest with your lawyer. If they lecture you it is because your behavior more than likely is damaging or potentially damaging to your case. Have realistic goals and expectations and be prepared to have your life examined under a microscope. Lawyers, no matter what their skill and experience levels can only work with the cases they are given, give them all of the facts and do your best to follow the advice they give.

quote:He's right. The attorney will be "conflicted out" as the presumption is they will have learned sensitive information about your side of the case that could be used against you.
Even if you don't end up hiring them, I believe that any attorney you even consult with (ie, have a one-hour meeting to discuss your situation) about your case cannot represent your ex. Maybe something to consider if you think this could get ugly.
