Come to town. Drive around COLLEGE STATION

At night? Do you feel safe?

At busy time of day? too much congestion?

Is there a bus route nearby?

What does your son like? I bet he decides.

Even if you do plan to come to College Station to look, sometimes it's nice to have a starting point and some personal recommendations.

The area around the mall and University Oaks is nice. Well lit at night, not a lot of traffic during the day. I've known people who have lived in every apartment complex down University Oaks. They have all had good things to say about them. You certainly get what you pay for, but it is in a good area and on a bus route.

Holleman between Texas and Wellborn isn't a place I would personally recommend.

This is what I did. They found an apartment for me at the price point I wanted

Plus they drove me around to the shortlisted places for tours. This helped because I didn't know my way around town at the time

Avoid University Terrace apartments at all costs. Terrible complex and the owner is 10x worse. If you don't believe me just read the online reviews.

Avoid Doux Chexe Apartments or anything on Southwest Parkway
