Came across this and briefly listens to Joe Rogan discussing it with a fella. Supposedly has some benefit in concealing from birds (turkey hunting) but I haven't seen any studies.
I don't do much turkey hunting since I lost my lease but what I found interesting is the podcast discussion on how predators might sense the adrenaline/energy of prey and if you could better conceal this "energy" you might have a better chance against a bear encounter (which is more relevant to me).
