Yeah, from like 9:00 to 9:10 it was pretty stout there for minute. Had a touch of hail but only for a few seconds and very tiny. Thankfully since we just had our roof replaced a couple of months ago.

According to this site the hill country is really missing out on rainfall for the first 3 months of 2024

The lowest yearly total on that map is #66 at Junction at 2.19" for the year. I have measured 1.85" at my house on the South Llano River in town. It is bone dry here but just north toward Menard twice as much. Many locals say Junction is the "hole in the donut" when it comes to rain.

Texas Storm Chasers and several other chasers are sending out crews to TX, OK, and MO with the storms expected this evening. In the eastern Dallas area there is a good threat of egg sized hail. We shall see
