Just drove through this storm from Houston to ft worth. Was not good....the storm is just sitting still and dumping some very heavy rain. Already some flooding on 287. Not gonna be pretty when the sun comes up.

I'm guessing the USACE is holding all water in Somerville as a last ditch effort to keep the Brazos in its banks down here around Richmond and Angleton.

The same reason Canyon Lake is over 100% and not flowing over the dam yet. I think it's around 20' high...above "normal full" if you will

1 3/4" in Bandera last night. River should be awesome this weekend if we don't get any more rain. Where we live at privelege creek and the medina River, the water is flowing beautifully and all the weeds/silt crap has washed down leaving clear water and clear beaches!

Lake Texoma is at a new record. Old was 644.7 something.
