I10 feeder road about half mile east of beltway is 1-2 feet of water based on the news right now.

That means the intersection under 10/8 is gonna be 5-6 feet.

Now almost 4 feet over flood stage. Not looking good. Downtown may be underwater in another hour or two.

If that's the case, that intersection will be more like 12' underwater. It's slopes down a lot more than you realize and all the flood gauges down there go up to 13-15' if I remember correctly.

Yeah I am kind of glad I moved from the place I was renting in the heights. I am for sure that the bottom floor (garage) has at least a foot of water inside right now.

I am not ashamed to live in suburbia with a giant retention area a few streets away in storms like these.

Damn glad we left galveston when we did we just skirted the edge at Huntsville

Pretty dry after that and the coolest sunset I've ever seen it was like thesky was on fire
)
Had to pull over at normangee on I45 - 4 car accident wife helped until ambulances arrived hope they all recover quickly one was head trauma

Dad pulled up his cows in the Navidad River bottom north of Edna a couple of weeks ago and is glad he did. The Navidad and Lavaca are rising pretty fast and Lake Texana is gonna be full if it wasn't already.

It wasn't the rain in Wimberley that caused the problem; it was the 9-12" of rain in the Blanco area that started the flood waters.

I have some baled and stacked but couldn't get it out even if I wanted to.

I walked out into the pasture yesterday after the rain south of Waco and went knee deep in a couple of spots.
