Currently watching Merlin on Netflix, and although a great for all ages tv show (although a bit repetitive), it got me thinking, the story has been told so many ways in so many formats, what is your favorite version of the King Arthur story?

Semi-related, I have always been fascinated by Merlin, and would love an adult, high-budget tv-show version of his and the knights of the round table's adventures. I fear that it would never happen so close to Game Of Thrones being at the precipice of pop culture though.

I guess I get my hopes up too much on Arthurian movies, because I'm always disappointed. Kinda like Superhero movies before the MCU.

I hope the new King Arthur is good, but I'm trying to not get my hopes up.

The Once and Future King is awesome. I loved Stephen Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle. Jack White's Camulod Chronicles are also great.

As far as movies go, Clive Owen's King Arthur is probably my favorite.

I enjoyed the Infocom game back in the day.

I loved The Sword in the Stone when I was a kid.

But of course, the correct answer is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
