They have to move that release date, though. Currently, it's scheduled for July 31, 2015, TWO WEEKS after Batman vs. Superman. Why not release in August?
I don't know a lot about Ant-Man other than what I've read on TexAgs and a little bit of Wikipedia-ing when I heard Wright was attached to direct.
But after reading the plot description I'm a little confused, anybody familiar with the character care to shed some light?
***potential spoilers but not really***
I have always heard that Ant-Man is Hank Pym, who's some genius scientist, creator of Ultron etc... So who is Scott Lang? Are purists going to be pissed about this? And does that mean Hank Pym is still in the movie in a big way?

My understanding is that Pym is kind of a ******** and this way they don't have to change hos character, but can also make Ant man a character that people actually like.
Edit... seems silly it edits out calling someone a Richard head. Are we in the 3rd grade.

I'm guessing they need to have a reason that Ant-Man in the films will only be Rudd, and this is why Pym can't take on the role himself.
Again, I don't know a thing about Ant-Man, but I understand fanboys getting up in arms about it. But from what I can tell, most seemed to take The Mandarin "rebranding" pretty well.
