I generally think Amarillo by Morning is the best, but a reasonable argument can be made for:

Anything by strait or brooks but Clint blacks killing time I can listen to a hundred times. A dark horse for me is Shenandoah next to you, next to me. I can't hear that song without singing along.

As far as non 90s (I think anyway) Joe Nichols brokenheartsville is great.
